Flipping through a printed catalog is a great way for customers to peruse products if they’re placing an order in your store. But printed catalogs don’t help your online shoppers who either can’t get to your shop or would prefer to do business online. That’s why it’s important to cater to your online customers with website catalogs.
Online catalogs are an easy way to showcase the products you offer to the general public, plus they enable you to show off your work—an excellent way to garner new prospects. Catalogs can be created and displayed on your website where you can show thumbnail images of each of your offerings along with the standardized pricing.
You can create a detailed product page for each product complete with specifications and pricing information. Or you can show all your products at once in an easy-to-view grid of “three across, three down.” For easier viewing, your customers can see a larger image of the product just by clicking on it.

Be sure you’re taking advantage of these new features:
Order verification. You clients will see a thumbnail image of the products they’re ordering on the checkout screen. Plus, if they need to change a quantity, they can do it easily on that page. This streamlines the ordering process and prevents your customers from having to jump around to several different pages when it comes time to verify their order.
Multiple currencies available. You can add a currency converter to your catalogs to attract more buyers. For stores outside the U.S., you can even make the default currency on your site your local currency. Give us a call and we will activate that feature for you.
“Order now, pay later” option. This feature gives clients flexibility when it comes to paying you for their orders. Sometimes clients may be hesitant to place an order if they’re not able to pay for it at that time. With the “order now, pay later” option, clients are able to enter in their billing information at the time of ordering, but delay actual payment until they receive their order.
Multiple order approvers. This feature allows you to set up several order approvers and give them access to approve only specific orders based on who submitted the order. This enhancement will be a big hit for multi-location or multi-division clients.
